In October 2015, to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the presence of French explorer Samuel de Champlain in Ontario, 24 francophone authors from France, Quebec, the Maritimes, the First Nations and Ontario gathered on a train travelling from Halifax to Toronto (roughly the route taken by Champlain 400 years before) and wrote a novel about Champlain… in 24 hours!
