It has finally arrived! 230 grams, 23 cm and it already sleeps through the night. It’s a gorgeous, bouncing baby BOOK! We’ve named it « C’est chouette, une maman! » (which means “Mommies are awesome” in French).
Delivery went well – the Purolator guy that dropped off the box of books was very nice 😉
I’d like to thank the team at Éditions de la Bagnole and my story’s godmother (and illustrator) Geneviève Després without whom this new picture book would not have been possible.
« C”est chouette, une maman! » is an hommage to motherhood, as seen through the eyes of a child. It will be in bookstores April 22, just in time for Mother’s day (hint-hint!).

Let me introduce you to my new “baby” – Charlotte partout!

Brilliantly illustrated by Benoit Laverdière and published by Les Éditions de la Bagnole, this new picture book is my third Charlotte adventure.

This time, Charlotte discovers that there are many places around the world that are also called Charlotte… but none of them are named for her specifically. And so, Charlotte sets off with her aunt (and her trusty cat!) to find a place to call her own.

Charlotte partout! is very special to me because the character of Tatie Katie was inspired by my good friend, children’s author and pilot, Katia Canciani.

I hope this new adventure will let readers 4 and up indulge in a wonderful flight of fancy!
